Python script that connects the badge to Home Assistant via MQTT

We recently posted about the DORS/CLUC 2025 badges designed by Igor Brkić. In the meantime, Dobrica Pavlinušić reached out with a very interesting follow-up!

Dobrica created a Python script that connects the badge to Home Assistant via MQTT. This effectively turns the badge into a smart home device — allowing you to monitor and control it from a familiar interface.
